I spent some time sewing today. The sewing machine is on a table in the little boys’ room. I was sitting at it this afternoon, sewing, when Little Miss came in. She started climbing up to the top bunk, saying something like, “Daddy, daddy, dee dee dee, crash!” over and over. The “crash” was the clearest word, and the one she emphasized. Then, she swung herself down by one hand to reach the bottom bunk. I was able to get a video clip of the last time she did it. Enjoy!

She fell from that bunk a couple of times. I didn’t know she knew how to handle it till the other day, when I saw this trick. She loves to go up there with her next older brother, whose bed it is.

No, I don’t sew for everyone! Just my daughters and myself, and not much of that even. My mom has sewed most of my dresses, and we’ve been given a lot for Little Miss. I’m trying to do mending right now; I sometimes have an hour in the afternoon for things like that.
Sorry to be a pain but how do you get to talk about these books and do you get free books if you make a comment about them. I’ve heard many people doing this but how do you start?
Do you mean Chautona Havig’s books? I get her newsletter, and signed up when she asked for people to be on her launch team. For other books, you can sign up with various programs. I use NetGalley most of the time, but don’t post those reviews on here; they just go on Esther’s website. I’ve also used BookLook Bloggers, and maybe another one, but I don’t remember right offhand which one. You sign up and just follow their guidelines. There are several of those programs, but they didn’t have very many books I was interested in.
